All Time Favourites

 Hi FAU Bloggers,

This week we will also split our blog session into 2 sections:

In section 1 you need to write about your ALL TIME TOP 5, and in Section 2, evaluate a classmate's blog.

ALL TIME TOP 5

Choose one of the following themes and create an ALL TIME TOP 5: books, films, animes/mangas, songs, albums, TV series.

For each of the 5 items on your list write a text that includes:

- the genre

- the creator (director, author, musician)

- the year it came out

- the main characters or themes

- a very brief summary of why you like it.

Here are 2 of my ALL TIME TOP 5 FILMS as an example.

One of my favourite films is the science fiction film Bladerunner which was released in 1982. It was made by British director Ridley Scott. The main characters are Deckard, an ex-police officer trained to capture and "terminate" runaway robots called Replicants. Roy Batty is the leader of a group of escaped replicants who Deckard has to capture and kill. I loved this movie because of it's exciting chase scenes and the way it combined a bleak, realistic view of the future in an exciting and interesting way. Highly recommended if you haven't already seen it.

Another film I really love is Brazil by Terry Gilliam which came out in 1985. It's a futuristc black comedy that ready only happens in the protagonist's head. Originally it was going to be called "1984 & a half" and it has some great cameo performances. The main themes relate to comsumerism and foolish bureaucracy burocracy through the story of a man who tries to find a woman he sees in his dreams. It was way ahead of it's time in many ways.

Add 3 more and that's part one done.

Part 2 of today's post is to evaluate the blog of the person below you on my blog page. Visit the blog and write a short post.

Say:

Who's blog it is,

How many posts it has,

How many comments it has,

Which is the most eye-catching post and why,

3 adjectives you would use to describe this blog.

(If you manage to finish these posts and your comments, please read an article from The Guardian)
